Yamanaka joined CIS Corporation in 1985
and has been the President and CEO since 1991.
His long-standing belief is product quality
speaks for itself and that there is no short
cut- not even technological superiority- to
win customers' confidence but to maintain and
improve the reliability of CIS' products. In
this line, he made "quality" a top corporate
priority and committed to put the highest
corporate emphasis on quality control and
quality assurance acitivities.
Before joining CIS, Mr. Yamanaka worked for 21 years at Sony Corporation laying the foundation for Sony CCD camera technologies.

Mr. Nagumo joined CIS Corporation as CTO in 2002.
He is the proposer of the new PoCL (Power over
Camera Link) standard and the leader of the Japan
PoCL St. Promotion Initiative (WG Japan).
Before joining CIS, Mr. Nagumo worked for 33 years at Sony Corporation pioneering the technology behind the Sony CCD product lines.
